“Building a Healthier Future: Accessible, Affordable, and Quality Healthcare for All is Key to National Development- Alalade.

A leading aspirant for the Federal House of Representative seat in Ibadan North Federal Costituency, Ademola Alalade has advocated for a comprehensive health care reform that will elp build a healthier future for Nigeria.

Alalade who stated this in a statement released to the press in ibadan noted that Nigerians deserve to have access to affordable and quality health carer if only government can invest heavily in health infrastructures that will allow and encourage health professionals to stay in the country to deliver quality health care to Nigerians.

He said by now Nigeria should be one of the leading health care tourist attraction centre with the number of health care professionals we have delivering healthcare services in other countries of the world which needs to be harnessed to deliver quality health care in the country.

Alalade said health reform in Nigeria is necessary because the country’s healthcare system faces several critical challenges that hinder access to quality medical services for the majority of its population.

While highliting some of the reasons why the health reform is imminent, Alalade noted that the health sector in the country lacks adequate modern infrastructure, adequate government funding,shortage of professional health care workers, poor emergency services, low coverage of health insurance scheme which leaves most people without financial protection against medical expenses, corruption and mismanagement as some of the problems facing the health sector

He called on the Federal Government to as a matter of urgency embark on a comprehensive and structured health reform that will will improve access to quality medical services, reduce mortality rates, strengthen the economy, and enhance the overall well-being of Nigerians.

He further explained that Investing in healthcare is not just a necessity but a fundamental step toward national development.

He promised the people of ibadan North that if elected as the member representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, he will strengthen primary health care services and ensure efficient health care delivery processes are prioritised to improve the well being of citizens in the constituency.

Alalade also promised to introduce mobile clinics to serve remote and undeserved communities stressing that he will continue to advocate for improved salaries and working conditions for healthcare professionals to curb the brain drain syndrome we are currently experiencing in the country. He said in conclusion that a healthy nation is a wealthy nation.
