Nigeria’s Offiong Edem has qualified for the semi-final of the Table Tennis event after quarterfinal win at the Africa Top 16 Cup in Tunisia.

The 33-year old Edem secured the berth after defeating favourite Fadwa Garci by 4-1 (11-8, 7-11, 11-5, 11-8, 11-6) to qualify for women’s Singles semifinals.
