A leading All Progressive Congress (APC) aspirant for a seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly COME 2023, Ademola Alalade(Alasibadan) has called for peace and transparency during the forthcoming nationwide Apc State congresses.

Alalade who noted that for the party to maintain its integrity and popularity, there is the need to conduct a peaceful and credible state congresses to elect the party state excos across the federation in readiness for the 2023 general election in the country.

According to the APC chieftian, now is the time to build the confidence of the people in the party, and to show Nigerians that the All Progressive Congress is a party that is dependable and capable of taking Nigeria to greater heights.

Alalade further reiterated that any political party in Nigeria that can successfully conduct its party congress in a peaceful atmosphere and can demonstrate a high level of transparency in the process of selecting credible candidates to run its party affairs in all state of the federation will definitely win the hearts of Nigerians.

He however called on the various committees being put in place by the party in each state of the federation to oversee the conduct of the congresses to ensure that the process is well conducted to give the party that credibility it deserves.

Alalade who is also a strong member of the APC in Ibadan North Local Government Constituency 2 however called on all contenders for top positions in the state exco of the APC in Oyo State to observe all protocols laid down towards a successful conduct of the exercise in the state. He also called on all party members to support the committee in charge of the exercise in the state to ensuring the successful conduct of the exercise in the interest of the party.
