After weeks of contemplation on who and who will make the final ministerial nomination list of President Bola Tinubu, the final list was today presented to the Senate on behalf of the President by the Chief of Staff Hon Femi Gbajabiamila and was received by the Senate President Senator Goswill Akpabio.

Among those who made the list from Oyo State was the former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank and aspirant of the APC in the 2023 gubernatorial elections Chief Waheed Abebayo Adelabu

In a congratulatory message to Adelabu through the Publicity Secretary of the group Ademola Alalade , the Oyo State Caucus of the APC UK described the nomination of Adelabu as a deserving one.

Adelabu over the years according to Alalade has demonstrated capacity, and commitment to the development of Oyo State with his huge investment in human capital development of citizens of the state.

The group however hopes he is well positioned with a portfolio that will further enhance his strength to do more for the state in particular and the country in general.

The group however called on all stakeholders in the state and in the country to support all the Nominees of the President in every capacity, to ensure they perform optimally in any Ministry they are assigned to.

The groupd also commended the President for meeting up with the deadline of providing his Ministerial list in accordance to the provision of the law of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
