An Oyo State House of Assembly aspirant from Ibadan North Local Government Constituency 2 under the All Progressive Congress (Apc) Mr Ademola Alalade has called for peace and unity in the country as Muslims all over celebrate Eid -El-Kabir.

Alalade in his salah message to the nation noted that the numerous challenges facing the country at the moment can only be overcome if every region of the country come together as one entity to agree on the best way to move the nation forward.

The ibadan born politician and APC Stalwart further noted in a statement released by his media aide Mr Bayo Ajibola that, this is a time for Nigerians to reflect on past mistakes that might have set the nation back, urging all irrespective of religious backgrounds, to pray and sacrifice everything they have to rebuilding the nation called Nigeria.

He noted that for the nation to continue to witness steady growth and development, their is the need to re-build the collapsed co-existing structure that was in existence within all the regions of the country many years ago.

He congratulated all Muslim leaders across the country on the occasion of Eid-El-Kabir and urged them to remain steadfast and continue to preach the essence of peace and unity within their immediate communities as this is the only solution to the numerous challenges bedeviling the country.

Alalade while wishing all the good people of Ibadan North Local Government a happy salah, called on all leaders within the local government to continue to foster peace within the community and reminded the people not to forget to maintain all covid-19 protocols during the celebrations as the Delta variant is on the increase in the country.
