A call has gone to Nigerians to continue to live in peace and harmony irrespective of their race, religion so as to be able to build a stronger nation that everyone can be proud of

A member of the All progressive congress from Ibadan North Local Government and an aspirant for the Oyo State Assembly in the 2019 general election Mr Ademola Alalade made the call today in a statement released in London as Nigeria celebrates its 60th independence anniversary.

Alalade urged Nigerians to always put the country first in whatever they do as showing love for the country will translate to showing love for one another and this is the only way citizens can live in peace and harmony

He praised the efforts of the founding fathers in creating a platform that gavce birth to the nation and urged the current leaders in the country to encourage youthful participation in the governing process of the country.

Alalade also said Nigerians should not give up on the country as Nigeria is an emerging economy and a lot of opportunities are available for all to tap in to and this can only be achieved if government can create an enabling environment for the economy to thrive.

He however encouraged Nigerian youths to keep focused on whatever they do and ensure they continue to do their best to create wealth for themselves despite the harsh economy and avoid vices that can get them in to trouble or derail their vision for the country.
