Founder of ‘KASUPO FOUNDATION’ and an aspirant for a seat in the House of Representatives from Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency under the platform of the All Progressives Congress(APC), comes 2023, Mr Olasupo Phillips, has urged Muslims in the country to celebrate Eid-El Kabir in a very solemn way, saying it is a time to sacrifice for one another so as to build a solid relationship that will foster peace in the country.

He stated this while extending hands of fellowship to members of his constituency by giving financial support and distributing rams to the party loyalists, elderly people, religious leaders and traditional rulers across Lagelu/Akinyele Federal Constituency.

“The Eid Al Adha celebration emphasises on giving out to people as part of what Islam preaches”, Hon. Supo stated.

While addressing the people, Mr Supo Phillips urged the people to always promote peace within their respective communities.

He stated that, “Regardless of our religious affiliations and racial inclinations, we need to see ourselves as one and cohabitate peacefully, among ourselves.

Hon. Supo congratulated Muslim faithful and he prayed for longevity to experience more of the seasons on earth.

Mr Phillips also encouraged Nigerians to continue to preach and pray for peace in the country and urged people to always be their brothers’ keepers.
