The Oyo State commissioner for information Dr Wasiu Olatunbosun has called on the Osun state government to work with the Oyo State government in ensuring strict compliance of inter state border closure.
Dr Olatunbosun stated this while monitoring border closure compliance at Oko-Ejigbo, border town between Oyo and Osun state.
According to to reports reaching our news desk, Dr Olatunbosun expressed displeasure at the uncooperative attitudes of some residents living close to the border towns.
The Commissioner who also joined the security agents at the borders to enforce restrictions on vehicular movement cautions against outbreak of the pandemic in the area.
He added that there are already five COVID 19 patients from Surulere local government, the reason they needs to be cautious and follow the state government measures to curtail its spread.
The commissioner also visited otee, a town bother between Oyo and Kwara state where he commended the effort of the officers on duty and also appealed to them to be thorough in their job.
