Breaking: Olubadan of Ibadan Land Joins His Ancestors At 93

The Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, has died.

The Monarch passed on in the early hours of today, Sunday January 2 at the age of 93

The Olubadan’s passage is coming less than one month after the death of Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Jimoh Oyewumi.

Reports reaching our news desk have it that the monarch died at the University College Hospital in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital

Oba Adetunji born on August 26, 1928, was crowned the 41st Olubadan on March 4, 2017.
