Be Steadfast, Shun Violence and embrace Peace for a Better Future – Alalade

As we usher in a new year, a strong member of the opposition party in Oyo State, the All Progressive Congress (APC) who is also a House of Assembly hopeful from Ibadan North Local Government Constituency 2 has called on residents of Oyo State and most especially those residing within Ibadan North local government to remain steadfast even in the face of numerous challenges as their is hope for the state and the local government to become one of the best in the country as we enter in to the new year.

The Ibadan born Politician and IT consultant made this call in his new year message to residents of the state and members of his constituency.

Alalade

Alalade urged citizens of the state to continue to the embrace peaceful co-existence among themselves as this is the only guarantee to a better future for both the state and the Local government.

He also used the medium to appeal to politicians in the state who are already gearing up for the next political dispensation, to put the progress of the state ahead of their game, urging them to play politics in a more civil manner to allow credible individuals emerge to run the affairs of the state at various levels.

He noted that if a level playing ground is created for political aspirants during electoral process, then the future of the country will be guaranteed as people will be allowed to choose their representatives without any interference.

Alalade also called on the INEC not to relent in their efforts in ensuring the conduct of credible elections in the country saying, Nigerians are looking up to the body to ensure the process of electing credible leaders is free and transparent in order to build a better future for the country.
