A new General Manager has been appointed for the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS).

He is Mr. Tunde Ajayi, who until his present appointment was the Director of Programmes in the corporation.

Mr. Ajayi’s appointment as new BCOS General Manager was contained in a statement from the Office of the Head of Service, Mrs. Hamidat Agboola.

Mr Ajayi joined the services of the BCOS in 1991 as a Producer II . He is a native of Ilora with a Masters Degree from the Department of Theatre Arts, University of Ibadan, Ibadan. In his career as a Broadcaster, he has headed some units in his immediate department. The Units include: Public Enlightenment, Entertainment and Library. He was Head of Channel at Ajilete FM in Ogbomoso and BCOS-Television channel 28 UHF in Ibadan. At different times, he has headed various committees. He combines production ability with presentation for Radio and Television. He is a writer with many works that have received recognition at different levels to his credit
