As the 2023 general elections draw nearer, the Oyo State caucus of the APC in the United Kingdom have pledged their un-waiving support for the Gubernatorial candidate of the party in the state Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin

In a statement issued in London by the Publicity Secretary of the party caucus, Hon Ademola Alalade, Senator Teslim Folarin has distinguished himself and displayed capacity and full preparedness for the forth coming election.

Hon Alalade who was also an aspirant for the state House of Assembly from Ibadan North Constituency 2, noted that Senator Teslim Folarin has been able to foster unity among party stalwarts, through his wide engagements and consultations with aggrieved party leaders and other critical stakeholders which has been yielding positive results for the party ahead of the coming elections.

While admitting that the 2023 general election will be keenly contested based on the caliber of candidates on the ballot for the Gubernatorial seat, Alalade noted that the APC candidate has demonstrated to the people of Oyo State that he is ready to take them out of the woods with his issue-based campaign that has taken him to virtually all the local governments in the state.

While urging Senator Folarin to as a matter of urgency look in to solving the security challenges in the state, the statement also gave kudos to the three term Senator for his numerous achievements as a federal law maker one of which was the sponsoring of the Nigerian local content development regulation bill of 2020 among others.

The group however called on all citizens of the state to make sure they collect their PVC’S and be ready to turn out in their numbers to vote for all the candidates of the APC right from the Presidency to the State House of Assembly.
