APC stalwart in Oyo State and an aspirant for the State House of Assembly Ibadan North local Government, Ademola Alalade has called on all the Governors from the Southwest zone of the country to be more responsive in dealing with the security challenges confronting the zone.
He made the call today in a statement released today following the current security reports about the incessant deadly activities of the Fulani herdsmen which has resulted in the extortion and death of many innocent citizens.
Alalade said without adequate security in place, development will never be achieved within the society and this will also deter foreign investors from coming to invest in the society.
he also affirmed that inadequate security in any society opens to a host of risks both internally and externally such as terrorism, burglary, national security and even the security of our young children.
He urged major players and indeed everyone within the community and the country at large to join hands with government and law enforcement agents to effectively deal with the security challenges that the country is facing at this very point in time.
Alalade further called on all the S/W Governors to pay more attention to securing the lives and properties of their citizens so that they don’t continue to live in perpetual fear which according to him is very unhealthy for their well being.
