Adelabu Facilitates Truce Between Warring Oyo APC UK Members

The truce amongs the warring members of the Oyo State APC Uk might seem to have been settled with the timely interrventionof the Oyo State Guber candidate at the 2019 general election, Chief Adebayo Adelabu admonishing for peace to reign between members of the Oyo State Chapter of the APC UK

Adelabu while calling for peace explained that it is only when there is peace that the party can achieve success even as the party look ahead of the 2023 election. The former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria called on the leadership of the caucus to heed to the demands of every member and ensure a transparent, free and fair congress that will usher in the new executives of the Oyo state chapter is held.
Adelabu further noted that with the ongoing reconciliation effort of the party members in Oyo State, he is optimistic that the party will be strongly repositioned towards the 2023 election saying the collective effort of every party member both at home and abroad will be key to ensuring victory for the party at the polls.

While condemning the shootings of the innocent ENDSARS Protesters, Adelabu urged the youths of the country to be more structured in their approach in expressing their grieviances rather than destroying public infrastructures provided by government to help alleviate the suffering of the Nigerian masses.

He then addressed the issues affecting the Oyo caucus of the APC and urged members to be united and work together as one in the overall interest of the party which according to him is top priority.
Members who spoke at the meeting expressed their concerns and stated that all that is needed to build a strong force in the UK is to ensure things are always done properly.


The current chairman Kolawole Saidu who spoke on behalf of all members took responsibility for all that went wrong as the leader and called on members to let bygone be bygone. He promised to reunite members and urged all to allow peace to reign. He also promised to ensure a good working relationship with all critical stakeholders so that a free and fair congress can be organised so as to bring fresh ideas and interested members to the fold.
Present at the meeting were Otunba Demola Popoola, Hon Ademola Alalade ibadan North constituency 2 , Hon Rasheed Adegboyega from Oluyole Constituency, Mr Damola Layade, Mr Femi Durodola, Mr Bayo Gbenla, Mr Oguntade, Mr Olamide Olashupo, Mr Yomi Oke, and Mr Supo Phillips.
