As Nigeria,turns 60,youths in the country have been called upon to brace up in the areas of nation building.

These were the call made by some APC chieftians while reating to the countries attainment of 60 years.

In a statement released by Honourable Olalere Olaide of the All Progressive Congress, the youthful politician advised the government of the day to include youths in running the affairs of the country in all the three government stratas of the Federal,State and the Local Government.

Hon Olaide cited examples of exemplary display of good governance by many great leaders of the country such as Gowon,Awolowo,Enahoro, Adelabu, Akintola Akinjide,Akinloye, Tanko Yakasai, Okotiebo and many others who at their youthful ages,got included and did excellently well in the day to day runnings of the affairs of the country.
Honourable Olalere Olaide popularly called ERE by his followers and admirers also cited countries like France,Canada and some developed countries of the world governed by youths as a pointer and a reference for the recommendation of the younger generation to be given a chance to participate in governance.

He therefore enjoined the youths of Nigeria to take the bull by the horn by getting into partisan politics during this democratic era pointing out that the strength, academic qualifications,exposure to latest technology, are some of the assets that the younger generation can harness to help build a country that all Nigerians can be proud of
He then prayed for peace, progress and the prosperity of Nigeria as the nation turns 60.

In the same vein, a chieftain of APC in Oyo State and Ibadan South Local Government Honourable Oladiran  Alabi have also called for national cohesion and sincerity in the nation’s building.
He was also reacting to the celebration of the nations 60th Independence Anniversary today in London.

He enjoined both the electorates and the leadership of Nigeria to be of one mind in order to build the nation.He posited that every nation of the world that have attained greatness achieved the feat by the sincerity of purpose, focus of vision,value addition and national support.
He called for a massive support for the leadership of the party and the government under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari so that Nigeria can attain the desired glory.
