An Apc stalwart and an aspirant for a seat in the Oyo State House of Assembly in the last general election to represent Ibadan North LG Constituency 2 Mr Ademola Alalade, has Eulogized the former Governor of Oyo Stae Otunba Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala as he celebrates his 70th birthday describing him as a true leader who was guided by his welfarism and populism philosophies which came to bear while he was the Governor of Oyo State

Alalade described the former police boss as a selfless politician, a leader with exemplary qualities and man who loved his people and the state with a passion and did everything within his capacity to bring sanity to the state during his tenure as Governor.

Alalade however called on all leaders in the state and most especially those within the All Progressive Congress (APC) caucus to emulate the leadership qualities of Otuba Akala to be able to reposition the party ahead of the 2023 elections so as to be able to take the state to greater heights.

Alalade however prayed for continued blessings for the former Governor and his family and urged him to continue to discover and breed new crop of leaders that will build on the legacies he has left for the people of Oyo State and the country in general.
