With focus on providing continued support to residents of Ibadan during the Corona Virus pandemic lock down in the country, UK based organisation Giftrete has extended its kind gesture of providing palliatives to some residents of ibadan and other parts of the country.
The gesture has been extended to states like Rivers and Edo states while plans are also in place to extend the gesture to some parts of Lagos and Ondo State.
This initiative according to the Coordinator of the project Mr Richard Oyedeji, is to support Nigerians who are finding it difficult to feed during this global pandemic Coronavirus that is ravaging the whole world.
He said the Uk based Organisation whose major focus is to provide a platform to reduce waste and encourage responsible consumption is working in collaboration with a charity organisation, Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC) along with some volunteers to distribute palliatives to numerous Nigerians in few states of the federation.
He called on well to do Nigerians, and corporate organisations to do their bits to support government’s effort to help feed as many Nigerians as possible as the country goes through the very difficult times.
He noted that Giftrete is resolved to continue to provide support to as many Nigerians as possible during this unprecedented period
