The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his Health Secretary have both been tested positive for the Coronavirus.

Boris Johnson revealed the news in a tweet saying he has mild symptoms of coronavirus and is self isolating and working from home which to the Prime Minister is the right thing to do to curtail the spread of the virus.

In a similar development few hours after Boris Johnson annouced his testing positive to the virus, his Health Secretary Matt Hancock also took to the tweet to announce that he has tested positive for the Coronavirus

Johnson used the opportunity to thank everybody involved, the British public, the NHS, all care providers, the Police, volunteers and the entire public service for taking part in a great national effort to protect people from the consequences of the Coronavirus.

He urged all to comply with all the measures that have been put forward so that the country can overcome the epidemic that has befell the country.

The Health Secretary Matt Hancock has also self isolated and working from home and he urged the British people to follow advice of Social Distancing to save the NHS
