Chief Bode George made this plea in an interview with journalists in Lagos on the recent happenings in political arena of the nation.

“God has been kind to him and he has served his own time. I don’t want to conclude that his life will be like King Saul in the Bible. I pray it will not be so.

“Baba has played his role. No generation can finish any job. Nation building is a continuous exercise.”

The PDP chieftain believes with this, the young generations will read to know about their past so that they will not repeat the same mistakes and the reason no man can finish the job.

He described as unnecessarily contentious and the attack on the President who is much younger and calls for caution.

He urged south west traditional rulers and stake holders to talk to Chief Obasanjo to remain at that pinnacle of respectability and not taking issues personal.
