As moves to constitute the principal officers of the incoming 10th National Assembly heats up , The Oyo Sate Caucus of the Apc Uk have expressed their full support for the returning House of reps member from the state, representing Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Hon Olaide Alinremi , popularly known as “Jagaban” to become the next Deputy Speaker.
According to a statement released in London today by the groups Publicity Secretary Ademola Alalade, Hon Akinremi has distinguished himself as a true democrat whose value within the National Assembly cannot be over looked. The statement described Akinremi as a man with a large heart always looking to provide support to everyone irrespective of tribe and religion.
Akinremi according to the group has displayed exemplary qualities of a good leader within his constituency, state and geo political zone which has endeared him to many of his colleagues who believe he will be a unifier in the lower chamber.
Akinremi who is also a close associate to the President- elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu played a pivotal role during the Presidential campaign election and it is believed he will also play a bigger role in enhancing what the executive will be doing at the center as well as sponsoring major bills that will impact positively the lives of Nigerians if elected as the deputy speaker of the House of Representative
Alalade also noted in the statement that Hon Akinremi who was re-elected in to the House of Representative under the banner of the All Progressive Congress will be the best choice for the position of the Deputy Speaker based on his competence, achievements and the numerous projects he has facilitated within his constituency and state which definitely shows his capacity to perform creditably well in this capacity.
The group however will be looking forward to a robust 10th National Assembly that will impact the lives of Nigerians possitively and thus wished the returning House of Reps memeber the very best as the country prepares to inaugurate the 10th Assembly come the 11th of June 2023
