Nigerias President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu has dismissed rumours making rounds about his ill health saying through his campaign team that it was necessary for him to take a break after his exhaustive Presidential election campaign to rest and plan his transition programme ahead of his inauguration scheduled for the 29th of May.

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is expected to be in Europe for a couple of weeks before embarking on a lesser hajj in Saudi Arabia where he will observe the Ramadan fasting which begins on Thursday according to his media aide Mr Tunde Rahman.

The President-elect is expected back in the country in a few weeks time.
