Tinubu slams Critics on BBC Interview

The Presidential Candidate of the All-Progressive Congress Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has described the various attacks on his personality by critics as pure envy of his achievements over the years.

Tinubu while answering questions on a BBC program which bothered on his source of wealth noted that his source of wealth was from his investment in Real Estate.

He explained that since he left government in 2007 as the Executive Governor of Lagos State, he has not held any public office neither has he taken up any government contract but rather has focused on his investments that has generated revenue for him.

The former Lagos State Governor also refuted allegations of claiming monthly income from the coffers of the Lagos State government to run his multibillion empire in Lagos saying, that was far from the truth noting that those kinds of statements are just signs of envy.

He urged his critics to focus on his track records and the model he created for Lagos state which is what he intends to replicate across the country if elected as the next President and stop rumor mongering

When asked about his chances of winning the Forthcoming Presidential elections with the caliber of people in the race with him, the Apc flagbearer simply responded saying “i am the most qualified candidate for the number one seat in the country” hence the reason for all the attacks.

Tinubu further expressed optimism that come May 2023 he will be sworn in as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria with the support of all Nigerians both at home and abroad and through a process that will be free, fair and credible.
