APC stalwart from Ibadan North Constituency 2 and a former broadcaster with the Nigerian Television Authority Ibadan Mr Ademola Alalade has expressed optimism that the All Progressive Congress (APC) will return to power in Oyo State and deliver good governance to the people of the State come 2023
Alalade who was a leading aspirant in the recently concluded primaries of the party, made the declaration in Ibadan recently while speaking with news men on the state of affairs of the party in the state, following the successful completion of the party primaries.
Alalade who lost out of the State House of Assembly primaries noted that even though he did not get the ticket to contest for a seat in the state House of Assembly in the forth coming general election come 2023 for the All Progressive Congress(APC) he is not deterred in anyway to contribute his quota in ensuring the party wins the Presidential, gubernatorial, Senate, House of Rep and the state house of assembly elections in most of the south western states of the federation.
He noted that even though it is evident that there are crisis within the party, the leadership of the party has been working round the clock to ensure that was a thing of the past and this was exhibited with a well organized and successful National Convention to elect the Presidential flag bearer of the Party.
While congratulating all the candidates that emerged to contest on the party platform , Alalade called on all party members and the general public to continue to have faith in the All Progressive Congress(APC) to deliver good governance to Nigerians.
He noted that for 8 years, the people of Oyo State enjoyed relevant peace and development in Oyo State under the APC leadership of Late Senator Abiola Ajimobi which is an indication that APC will again do well for the Country and the state after the 2023 election when Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu would have emerged as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
Alalade also encouraged those who have not registered to vote to take absolute advantage of the extension of the voter registration exercise by the Independent National Electoral Commission and register to participate in the forth coming 2023 general election.
