As the support base for the National leader of the All Progressive Congress (Apc) Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu continues to grow within Nigeria and across the world, one of the leading support groups, Southwest Agenda has launched the UK chapter with an inaugural meeting held over the weekend in London.
The National Secretary of the group and a former House of Representative member, Hon Bosun Oladele who was a special guest at the inaugural meeting explained the genesis of Swaga and also narrated to those present at the meeting on why it is important to support the National Leader of the APC Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2023 as the next President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Bosun Oladele in his short speech extoled the virtues of the Former Governor of Lagos, Senator Bola Tinubu describing him as a uncommon breed among his peers and as a leader who has built so many leaders in Nigeria and above all a man of great integrity who has given his all to the development of Nigeria.
The National Secretary also noted that the group has visited over 400 traditional rulers in the southwest and all of them have endorsed the candidature of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu to become Nigeria’s next President come 2023.
When asked if truly Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu will be contesting the 2023 general election, the former Member of the House of Representative’s response was simply convincing that even though he has not publicly declared, many of his strong supporters will not be wasting their time if he truly wont be contesting.
He commended the London chapter of Swaga for the giant strides taken so far in coordinating the activities of the group towards the realization of its objectives.
The Coordinator of the group in London, Ibrahim Yusuf in his welcome address expressed appreciation to all that graced the occasion and described the Apc National Leader Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as a father and a true progressive who is fully committed to the development of the country. He described him as a man of vision, power and action who many Nigerians should have confidence in to take the country out of the woods.
He noted that arrangements are in full gear for the grand official Launching of the group in the United Kingdom early next year
Many of those who were present at the event showed commitment to the course and are all hopeful that come 2023 Nigeria will begin a new chapter under the able leadership of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu
